Estate Sale Recommendations

"As some of you know I have just moved my Mother into a retirement home which necessitated a major downsizing in possessions (furniture, rugs, art, dishes). I had the BEST experience from Tate Estate Sales. Diana Tate did a great job. They came to see what we had for sale (taking pictures etc.); after Mom moved out they staged all of the furniture in her apartment (looked like retail store set up, very nicely staged); she obviously has contacts in lots of areas and almost half of the dollar value was sold prior to the day of the sale; they also do all the advertising for the sale and even boxed up stuff that was left over. They only get work from referrals and they appear to be busy all the time; their cut depends upon the amount and “perceived” value of the items (bigger sale prospects smaller cut and vice versa) and they deserve every penny for all the work they do. They were a huge help to me in this entire moving process."
